recycle:
Wipe clean good pieces for reuse.
Edinburgh: Take clean, used aluminium foil, ready meal trays etc. to the Packaging Recycling Points (See Recycling Points In Edinburgh), or place into kerbside boxes.
East Lothian: Take to Can Recycling Points (See Recycling Points In East Lothian) or place into kerbside boxes.
Scottish Borders: Place into your clear kerbside collection bag.
Aluminium foil cannot be recycled at Can Recycling Points or via kerbside collections in Midlothian and West Lothian.
If you are unsure if something is made from foil try crunching it. If it does not crunch up, it is likely to be shiny plastic and cannot be recycled e.g. crisp packets.
