Wood Works collects construction site and household wood waste
throughout Edinburgh, which it then sorts and rejuvenates for re-sale
and reuse from its woodstore. See WOOD/TIMBER for more
information.
If buying new timber fittings look out for the FSC (Forest Stewardship
Council) label indicating timber from sustainably managed forests.
Suppliers of FSC wood products include B&Q, Co-op, Habitat,
Homebase, IKEA and The Body Shop.
