Corks

Reuse:

Use in the base of flowerpots when planting seedlings to retain moisture.


Chopped up cork can be composted or used for arts and crafts. See Donations of Materials for Arts and Crafts.


Environmental Suggestion:

Try to buy wine with real corks rather than plastic, so you can compost them. Cork production is also a renewable resource as the cork bark re-grows.
