DonateAPC is a free service for individuals to donate their unwanted computers, printers and accessories. Items collected go to UK charities, not-for-profit organisations and educational establishments:
Pass IT On is a Scottish charity which accepts donations of computers and IT equipment. The donated materials are adapted and given, usually free of charge, to people with disabilities in Edinburgh and surrounding areas (EH postcodes). In particular they are looking for PCs (Pentium 2.5 GHZ or faster); working laser printers or colour deskjet printers; monitors (17' or larger TFT) and licensed software. Please check the website for current requirements. Refurbished computer equipment sold on the first Saturday of every month, 10am-1pm.

REUSING IT accept donations from individuals and organisations of Pentium 3 computers or above, preferably with USBs and CD-ROM drives. They are sent to well established projects in Africa with the aim of sustainable development through the use of a computer.
