CARTRIDGES

Laser printer and photocopier

recycle:

Over 2 million non biodegradable toner cartridges are thrown away every year in the UK. Most can be remanufactured or recycled. These cartridges are worth over £10 each and provide fund-raising opportunities for charities. When choosing the charity you would like to benefit from your cartridge recycling, it is worth bearing in mind that schemes run by the charities themselves are likely to net a far greater sum than those recycled through private companies.

Donations contribute to projects involving and benefiting local people. Freepost bags are sent out on request or can be obtained from some Edinburgh libraries. Larger quantities of cartridges can be collected or collection boxes supplied. Mobile phones, accessories and chargers are also collected.
