Waste Aware Edinburgh
Education Cabin
Book a visit to this free, interactive visitor centre. Explore the wonderful world of waste through Reduce, Reuse, Recycle activities and displays. Visits include a talk and a tour of the Seafield Community Recycling Centre, Ideal for schools, youth groups, adult community groups, families and friends. Group size: 8-15 people.
Opening hours: April-September, 10am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm Saturdays; September-March 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday.
Recycling Advice Visit
Recycling Advisory Officers are available to offer practical recycling advice to residents, and can help to encourage your community to recycle by visiting residents at home to provide free information and updates.
Scrap Workshops
Make your own greetings cards, puppets, masks, costumes, games and gifts out of unwanted scrap materials. Community groups and after-school clubs can book a recycling talk and a half hour workshop for just £2 per person to cover the cost of the scrap materials. The workshops are delivered in partnership with Bits and Bobs Scrapstore and Te Pooka, and can be tailored to suit all age groups from primary school to adult.

Midlothian Waste Education Programme
The Let's Recycle team visits schools and community groups to deliver a variety of workshops and presentations. These can be tailored to suit any age group, and are fun, informative and free.
